God is a God of restoration.  The best-known Psalm in the Bible says it so plainly, “He restores my soul.”  We were created in the image of God, and it is the desire of the Holy Spirit to restore us to that kind of living.

However, restoration is a misunderstood concept.  In everything else, “restored” means a return to the state that once was.  Whether it’s a ’57 Chevy or an antique armoire, we restore it by working to a previous condition.  When it comes to a restored life, what we mean is a restoration to the life that God really meant for us to live–whole, healthy, and fulfilling.  Our foundational 9-week course is designed to see that come to fruition.
